The Last Wild Ones

A modern cowboy leans back against the pavement, boots kicked up against the weight of time, a lone horse tethered nearby like a ghost of the Old West. The neon glow of a fading theater marquee flickers overhead, a relic of another era, watching over the untamed spirit that refuses to fade.

This black and white photograph captures the intersection of past and present, a moment suspended between nostalgia and rebellion. It is a story of grit, freedom, and the unbroken soul of the West. 

The Last Wild Ones has been selected as a part of my exclusive limited edition series. Only 12 prints in the size 24x36" will ever be made, each one a rare testament to those who live by their own rules, unshaken by the world shifting around them. Once all 12 are sold, this image will never be duplicated again. Each limited edition print will be hand signed by Opal and accompanied by a letter of authenticity.

Printing
Photographs are printed on a premium, fiber based paper that closely mirrors the depth, tonality, and texture of classic darkroom prints. Often compared to the iconic Oriental New Seagull G, one of Ansel Adams’ preferred papers. This material offers exceptional contrast, deep blacks, and luminous highlights, elevating every detail beyond what standard inkjet papers can achieve. With a lightly textured semigloss surface, it enhances depth and reflectivity while maintaining a natural white tone, free from artificial brighteners, ensuring true archival quality. I chose this paper for its ability to preserve the integrity of our images, transforming each print into a timeless fine art piece.

Orders with NO frame. Prints come with 2" border. This allowance gives you the choice of how you want to frame your own.

Can I cancel my order?

Due to the custom nature of the art, there are no returns or cancellations after order is placed.

Shipping

Each print is made to order with precision and care. Due to high demand, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for printing, mounting, framing, and shipping. Once your piece is shipped, you will receive a shipping tracking number to follow its progress.
